I'm starting to be a little awe struck at the climbing price of gasoline here in Seattle. On my way into work this morning, I noticed the following prices at a station in our Ballard neighborhood. $3.99, $4.09, $4.19 and bio-diesel was $4.62. Good Grief! Though I ABSOLUTELY LOVE driving into work each day due to my current office location having free parking, when I move offices in a few weeks and parking is no longer covered, I really WON'T miss the gas expense. I'll now get a transit card mostly paid by my employer for next to nothing. It's been 4 years since I've taken the bus on a regular basis. I hope I survive. I'm sure they are filled with oodles of interesting people to study.

It really is killing us, and so are food prices. I was just in Costco today and I can't believe how much prices have jumped there in the last few months. And don't even get me started on this rice rationing ...
