Life Goes On & Love Remains

It's been an interesting morning here in the office. My boss's Mother passed away this past weekend. In our small office of 12 professionals, five of us have lost our Mothers in the past 20 months. We've all been condoling my boss and discussing her process of being with her Mother up till she took her last breath yesterday. She asked us to share our individual processes we experienced with each of our Mom's passing experiences. I'm very grateful we all have been here to offer her an outlet to laugh, cry and vent. It made me reflect back to my Mother's passing and funeral arrangements in June 2006, and the peace I felt through it all even though the experience itself was, and still is very hard and sad. One never gets over losing their Mother, you just learn to cope with it better each day.
