We just got back into town after traveling around Illinois and Missouri. We had a great time, even after a few set backs with a rental car breaking down, horrible heat, and SERIOUS red neck types of people. YIKES! As we get time, we both will be posting more about our trip and spending time in St. Louis and Historic Nauvoo. We saw my aunt and uncle on their LDS mission in Nauvoo and Carthage. All and all we had a great time. We even treated ourselves to first class air transportation on Northwest Airlines. I think I'm becoming more high maintenance with time and age. I'm never flying coach again if I can help it! :)

Well now all I have to say is I felt like the huge ELEPHANT WOMAN when we were coming home from St. Louis/Nauvoo in October... Okay here is the story.. We got to the airport late because we had to find a gas station to fill up the rental car before we gave it back... adn we finally get there and mine and Rebecca's luggage is too heavy so we have to change things around and that takes time... well we finally check in and we are boarding class C or whatever is LAST!!! and by the time we finally get onto the plain there is NO seats... Rebecca and Gretel find some a few rows away from eachother and Shelly had to get the 'flight attendant' involved because these parents of a lap rider didn't want to wake up their child who didn't pay for that seat... so she finally got a seat and the only one left is in the middle of these 2 very SKINNY people... so here I come feeling very NOT SKINNY and squeze into this seat... My face was on fire and I just wanted to die... they were both very nice people and we talked all the way home but is was very uncomfortable to feel like the Elephant Woman... Needless to say I don't think I will be flying again any time soon...
