Señor Moose Café

We finally made it to Señor Moose Café last night, after many reviews from friends. We've driven by this place numerous times, in fact daily on our way home from work, but have never ventured in to partake of the authentic Mexican cuisine. Let's just say that Holly and I both, inhaled the fresh made and fried corn tortilla chips with five salsas. It was yummy! We hooked up with our friend Darlin to get caught up on what was going on in her life. We had good long, low-key visit. Holly and I both enjoyed pork mole dishes with dirty rice and fresh re-fried beans. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting excellent Oaxacan Mexican cuisine. Who knew this gem was in our own neighborhood of Ballard. We definitely will be visiting this place again when our crave for Mexican food needs to be tamed.

Hmm...Thanks anonymous, that kind of grosses me out. Well, we didn't get sick, and no one we know who has been there has ever been sick. But this might influence how often we go there.
