Steve, Kelly, Holly and I braved the horrible Seattle driving conditions last night and went out to see the Broadway touring version of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Luckily Steve drove in his all wheel drive vehicle, and I didn't have to deal with it. We had a nice meal at Il Fornaio, then headed over to the 5th Ave Theatre to watch this. I LOVED the sets, particularly all the moving trees and chirping bird sounds in the theatre. This has always been a fun movie of mine growing up, so it was nice to see a different version of it. This was a fun holiday thing to do. I can't believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow. Where has this month and year gone?

I liked seeing the play and I love the songs. I also grew up on this musical so it was fun to hear it again. However, my favorite broadway play still has to be Thoroughly Modern Millie.
7 B's for 7 B's was a little too flamboyant for my taste. It was fun to get out of the house and see a musical, though. I can't believe it took us 1.5 hours to go 8 miles last night. This city needs to start using salt on the roads.
A-ha! I knew I wasn't the only one who liked that movie. Of late I've been abused for admitting I enjoyed it. Phew. It would be fun to see the Broadway version.
