Fabulous Festive Friday

Dan and I had an excellent date night this past Friday. We braved the freezing rain and went to Soprano's, our neighborhood pizza and pasta joint, and had really good fill-me-up heart warming food. Dan had gorgonzola gnocchi and I had rosemary chicken ravioli. Yum!

After dinner we headed over to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens for their holiday light show. It was super cold, but totally worth it. I thought it was so creative, they had lights in the shape of flowers, bugs, and animals. Here are some highlights.

This is how most of our photos turned out. For some reason, Dan can't quite focus the camera on both of us :)

I loved the dahlias and sunflowers.

Did I mention it was cold. Don't we look cute in our hats?

The pictures don't do it justice. If you have time to go this year, I would totally recommend it.

The annual "Bellevue Botanical Garden D'Lights," will be a annual tradition for us. It was amazing and beautiful.

I love their displays! When you have your daughter, you will have to combine that trip with a stop at Bell Square for the outdoor "snowing" and drummer boys.

The lights are pretty. Maybe I can convince Steve to go, but we were just in Bellevue on Saturday night. I need to plan better.

I can't wait to go.

Serine and I have made this floral light fest one of our Christmas traditions for years. I am always impressed by the originality of the designs and the intense detail work. All that glowing goodness simply makes me smile.
