Sewing with Beep

I may not have a lazy eye or lisp (sorry Nancy), but I'm starting to become quite the sewing diva if I do say so myself. Here I am modeling my latest endeavor, a super cute reversible apron. This is the first time I've ever sewed anything on a curve, and let me just say it was hard! Especially when your presser foot isn't the right width so you're guessing on your 1/2" seam. Anyway, it was fun to make and will be even more fun to wear. Thanks to Josie for turning me on to this pattern!

Who would have thought that the two of US would turn into a "project sweat shop" at home. We are all working on various things. Beep is sewing these days, and I'm taking up wood carving again. I'm going to carve more Santa's and make a Noah's Ark with animals for our pending daughter's room down the road.

That apron is fantastic! I may need to get the pattern from you as well. You chose such great fabrics.

Love the apron--reversible too, that's great. What are some of the things you made in school? My mother-in-law always wore an apron in the kitchen. I need to since I seem to spill on myself a lot.
