Happy Earth Day!

In honor of Earth Day I thought I would share a few fun twists on your average drinking vessel. While plastic can be convenient we all know it isn't great for mother nature, but if you like the look of your plastic bottle or cup and think it would be fun to freak out your family and friends check out these fun glass bottles and ceramic cup. I think they are genius.

These glass bottles can be found at Crate & Barrel for 7.95-15.95

And this cool cup is 39.00 at generate.

Speaking of Earth Day, my office has been raising money to give a water well kit to a Malawi Village through this great website our office designed called ripple effect. This afternoon we are having a catered organic lunch where we'll be able to see how much money we've raised. Often times my office has activities or venues that I don't really get involved in because the are usually focused around copious amounts of alcohol, so I really love it when my office does something worth while that I can get behind.

glass bottles? ..really? like (valley Girl commenting, here)...for the gym?...i'm not sure...

...lot's of "...'s" in my comment...

...so...you know how soda (which i don't drink anymore, anyway) tastes better in a glass bottles?

...does water?....

like (valley girl, still)...i drink water at home out of glasses...does the enclosed area of the glass water bottle make the water, like, taste better? ...i just don't know what i'd do without that lovely plastic after-taste of my water..

...please...post more on the glass water bottle usage....

and maybe...include....you know... ....'s....and some valley girl, like, talk...

For reals: I want a glass water bottle.

Word verification: asestic
That is how my three year old would say, "asthetic", if she ever was going to say it. (I think I'll teach her that word today.)

The glass water bottle as an asestic appeal... (not those ...'s again!)

Okay Lefty, you are scaring me a little :)
But it sounds like you like the glass water bottles. I like them for entertaining purposes (for the novelty factor) or for my desk at work. I think next time I'm at crate & barrel I'll check them out.

I know, Holly. I know what you mean by the scary factor.

I was a bit hyper when doing the original comment...just a little. I think it's all the energy that used to be used in facebook being channeled somewhere else. I will mellow out soon...I hope. And I'll try not to take all my energy out on your posts. ;)

I do like those glass bottles. I think I will have to stop in at Crate & Barrel myself.
