I'm a little pissed that preliminary ticket prices for Wicked, coming to the Paramount Theatre in Seattle later this summer are ASTRONOMICAL! Nosebleed, 3rd tier seats are $115.00 and up. Decent seats down on the orchestra level are $215.00-$275.00 and up...PER PERSON! I'm hoping these are typos, and when tickets finally do go on sale via Ticketmaster, they won't be that much. No Broadway show is worth spending hundreds of dollars on. Good Grief! Maybe I'm just a super cheap tight wad?!

No, you're not cheap- that is pricey! Good luck getting people to doll out that much in this economy. I hear Wicked is fabulous, though.

You may be a tight wad, I don't know, but for that kind of coin you ought to get a neck massage and a free smoothie along with the show. SHEEEESH MAN!!
Our Wicked tickets were $90+ for the Bay Area production. I think TicketMaster should rot in hell.
