Feeling a Little Crafty

For the past few years I've been making these cute onesies with embroidered flowers for the expectant moms in my life. I have fun putting them on the front or on the butt, adding the stem and little french knots for leaves. This set is for my sister in law (I think it's safe to show them here since she never reads our blog) and is by far my best work.

This particular one is my favorite.

I love the different colors of embroidery floss and frequently will spend a few minutes just staring at the rows of color in my box. I know, I'm weird like that but I LOVE color!

This one I took just to show off our cute little birdie we bought at Ravenna Gardens. I love him!

Time to put out all the Easter decor to go with the new birdie. St. Patrick's Day is over, time to move onto the next holiday.

B- I pretty much drag out projects for months. Luckily pregnancy lasts 9!

Mel- I'm so happy you look at the blog! Don't tell gretch about her gift...I have one more to do and we'll mail it out to her.

Lucy- I'm more than happy to show you how to make these. They are so simple!

Can you come to Needle Night and show me how to do this? Or I could come to you--whatever. I've been wanting to learn the french knot for a few months now.

Adorable work!

Those are beautiful Holly. Your sister in law will love them. I know I love the ones you made me and can't wait for Miles to be big enough to wear them.
