Summer Books

I'm just about finished with the book I'm currently reading and have decided to solicit from all of you suggestions for good summer reads. I'm also looking forward to the future of needing something to read on our flight to France. Suggestions anyone?

Please make sure these book suggestions are not three inches thick. That usually is a turn off, for me anyways.

Apparently my suggestions wasn't good enough for you, so here are some others.

I haven't read some of these, but I have heard good things about them.

Fiction:
1. The Chicago Way
2. The Yiddish Policeman's Union (i have started this one; seems good so far)
3. The Lazarus Project

Non-fiction:
1. The Audacity of Hope. I love this book.
2. Nixonland. I haven't this one, but it's on my list.

It's not that your suggestion wasn't good enough, I just don't think of books you are forced to read in high school as summer reading. Then again, I cheated though my senior year english class, so what do I know!

I thought you were going to read the French phrase book on the flight over. Je m'ennuie.
