Stationery Woes

So there is this really cute stationery place by my office that is locally owned and run by women. I love walking by the windows and seeing what lovely goodies they have to tempt me with, which usually tuns into going in and buying a card or two. They have had the best selection of Snow & Graham, which are some of my favorite letter press cards, than any other store I've been to. Well, the "loud" girl in my office announced that sadly they are going out of business and that everything was 50% off. It was kind of all I could do to not jump out of my chair and head straight to the store. When I got there it was so sad to realize that they really were closing and that the women who run the store were losing a place they loved. I hope they land on their feet and wish them the best of luck in their next endeavor.

(I did get some pretty good deals, I tried not to look too elated as I sifted through cards and note books)

I hate to see the smaller mom and pop shops go out of business. This shop has had great cards, and we've used a lot for birthdays and holidays.

I agree with Dan ... it is hard to see these smaller shops go out of business. But hooray for a good deal for you :) !!
