I just finished reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It is a young adult novel about how a young girl's love of books helps a community survive World War II and the Holocaust. I REALLY enjoyed this book. Mostly because of the unique perspective it was written in, narrated by death. I thought this would be a good book to read as Dan and I prepare to go to Munich, particularly to the Dachau concentration camp as the book is set in that area. I'll warn you, there is some swearing but most of it is in German so I didn't really know how to pronounce the words or know what they meant so it didn't stick. I'll also warn you that it will make you cry, but feel good all in the same moment.
Today I'm going to start reading The Holy Temple by Boyd K. Packer. I'm trying to do a better job at balancing fiction (my escape) and personal enlightenment through church books.

This is on my stack of books to read. Maybe I better put it at the top now. It's been recommended by many people.
I love book recommendations, so thank you.
I am reading Eat, Pray, Love. It is okay. Just okay, so far. I am bummed that I bought it in desperation for something to read (library had closed by then) instead of checking it out or borrowing it. Oh well.
