I promised I'd post pictures of the temple so here they are. We had a little struggle getting there, but it was so worth it. I was amazed by the spirit that Dan and I both felt in the temple even before it was dedicated. We both got choked up as we walked through, not because of the architecture or decor, not even because of what the guide was saying, but it was because I know the sacred work that is done there, and I know that it is a place where God can dwell. I'm thankful for temples and even more thankful for the love Dan has for them and the opportunity we have to serve there.
As for the interior, it is very beautiful. There are representations of the provincial flower, the dogwood, all around. It felt very inspired by nature with the blue and green stained glass and rich murals and paintings.
